Financial support, customer assistance and concessions

Life support
If a person living in your home requires life support equipment, you must advise us immediately.

You must provide the details of the life support equipment required together with a signed confirmation form from a medical practitioner of the requirement for this equipment.

If you inform us that a person living at the supply address requires life support, we must give you 50 business days to provide written confirmation from a medical professional.

We must provide you with at least two written notices to remind you that you must provide this confirmation.

Financial Hardship

Concessions, rebates or grants available for energy
You may be eligible for a government concession or rebate in relation to your energy bill.

If you previously held a concession, this has now also been applied through Prospecta Utilities.

All rebates are passed on directly in accordance with relevant obligations where applicable.

Each state government offers a range of grant programs, concessions, and rebates to financially assist people struggling with paying their energy bills.
